How it works

Before you come in I’ll ask you to fill out some paperwork. This will include your medical history and a three-day food record. When you come for your appointment we will start out by reviewing your medical history, food record, and discussing other lifestyle factors such as exercise, stress levels, and sleep. After that, we’ll come up with a goal, based on your lifestyle, that works for you. We want the goal to push you a little past your comfort zone and also be something achievable.

Your first follow-up appointment will include a complete dietary analysis. Between our two appointments, I will calculate the nutrient intake of your diet. We will use this analysis to get a deeper insight into any possible nutrient deficiencies you have and which parts of your diet could be improved. Using this information we will again formulate some goals.

Subsequent appointments will be shaped around your needs. We may do another food diary if that could be helpful, we may formulate new goals, or continue to work on the goals we already have in place. This is an interactive process that is shaped by you!

In this one-hour consultation, we will review your diet, medical record, and any concerns you have. We will discuss strategies to create a healthier lifestyle without feeling like you are missing out. Whether you are looking to lose weight or just to feel better, we will work together to develop a plan that works with your lifestyle.
